Project SASHAKT
Aims to financially empower and provide livelihood opportunities to Veer Naris/widows of ESMs/needy veterans/their dependents. It gives them the power to build businesses and provide for their families.
*All these individuals have been verified & referred to us by Zila Sainik Board (ZSB), Rajya Sainik Board (RSB), Regiments & Records.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Support Our Heroes NGO handed over a cheque of Rs.30,000 help expand her Kauna Grass Handicraft business so that she can stand on her feet & support her family.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Daily use items shop of Ex-Sep. Har Kumar Singha (71yrs old, non-pensioner) is ready & operational now.
Within no time Inner Wheel Club of Delhi South (one of Support Our Heroes well-wisher organisation) arranged the entire amount of Rs.15,000 for him and made this possible.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Smt. Sushma Tiwari’s w/o Late. 15106377F Ex-Nk. Santosh Kumar Tiwari, beauty parlour is operational now and running well.
With help of Shaurya Kiran Foundation & others, Support Our Heroes NGO was able to arrange her requirement of Rs.50,000 and hand it over to her.
It was inaugurated by the mayor of Rajnandgaon city in the presence of Zila Sainik Board, Rajnandgaon officials and local media.

It was given by commandant Ladakh Scouts Regiment in the presence of President Ex-servicemen Association Ladakh, Zila Sainik Boards officers and other Govt officials.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Smt. Roshni Pandey’s w/o late No. 1459911A Ex. Spr Digrish Kumar Pandey, shop of Pooja related items is ready & operational now.
Within no time, with the help of our kind-hearted donors and well-wishers, we were able to arrange Rs 60,000 and hand the cheque over to her.
This will help her earn her livelihood and lead a decent life.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Support Our Heroes team opened Small shop for Ex, Sep. Giridhar Malakar (66+yrs old non-pensioner veteran) from ASC (MT) Indian Army.
Few months back, he lost his elder son (aged around 24-25 years) to poverty when he fell ill and family could not afford good treatment for him so he died. Obviously, we can’t undo the past but hope that this venture would help him to earn a decent livelihood.

HELPED SUCCESSFULLY : Nk. Letkhojang and his daughter expressed that following items can ease their life and put an end to their daily struggle to meet the ends meet:

•Financial support of Rs.30,000 to open a small Grocery shop for earning a fixed income
Support Our Heroes team provided wheelchair to Nk. Letkhojang under Project INSANIYAT and financial support of Rs.30,000 under Project SASHKAT to open a shop. Now his shop is operational and running well.
Few years back he got heart stroke from that time he is on bed and can’t move without any support. He lives with his wife, two daughters (one is widow & another one is deaf & dumb).
